Business Description:
The Stafford Historical Society was founded in 1962 to preserve materials relating to Stafford's history for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations. The society's main museum at 5 Spring Street has two floors of exhibits about Stafford and a library with research facilities on local topics. The society also restored the Patten District One-Room Schoolhouse at Heritage Park in Stafford. Monthly meetings with presentations by guest speakers are held five months a year. Other events are held throughout the year. The Society is a non-profit, volunteer run organization. New members are always welcome.
