Local Request for Proposals (RFP)- Any program interested in becoming a provider of School Readiness services in the Stafford community must submit a local proposal to the Stafford School Readiness Council (Stafford Early Childhood Collaborative) for approval. All local RFP submissions will be reviewed by the council and scored. All School Readiness providers must be willing and able to comply with all legislated mandates. Programs interested in participating in the open-bid process must contact Peggy Zopelis, Stafford School Readiness Liaison at (860) 851-9756 or by email at SECCcoordinator@gmail.com on or before March 18, 2016 with their intent to apply and for any additional information. Applicants should apply early in order to complete the application by the due date of April 8, 2016. Eligible applicants must submit an application for July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. Grant award commitments will be issued annually based on the annual appropriation of the Connecticut Legislature and the grant recipient's compliance with the program requirements.
