Sage Page July 2019

FROM THE DIRECTOR
I want to wish everyone a happy and safe Independence Day! The Center will be closed on Thursday, July 4th in observance of the holiday.
Noteworthy items in this month’s Sage Page include the
Stafford SummerFeast to be held on the grounds of Stafford High School on Saturday, July 6th , culminating in the annual fireworks display. The Stafford 300th Anniversary Committee also has a Historic Trolley Tour happening throughout the day on Saturday, July 20th with an unveiling of the Stafford Legacy Clock in Haymarket Common at 12:15. There is more information about these special events inside. Don’t miss out!
The Stafford Travel Club has two trips available; “The Magic of Motown” and “Tied Up in Knotts!”. If you haven’t already bought your tickets, there is information on page two on how to get them.
For all you Johnny-come-latelys who didn’t make it to the Center to renew your Senior Center Membership during the month of June, you can still get it done. Just stop by my office and I will hook you up! The Senior Picnic is coming up in August, and you must be a current member to participate!
