Stafford has approximately 11,300 residents and covers 58 square miles, the third most for Connecticut towns. There is a developed downtown business section bordered by several parks. [
The Town of Stafford began its history almost 300 years ago as a rural hill town with 3 excellent agricultural districts concentrated throughout 6-7 villages. [
A fine balance of manufacturing, retail and service industries presently exist. Stafford is a Business friendly community offering many benefits. [
For the outdoor enthusiast, Stafford and North central Connecticut offers many activities. The Town has several tennis courts, ball fields, soccer fields, and several quiet, relaxing parks. [
Stafford has always had many active civic organizations. Today there are a numerous active clubs that contribute to the town's ongoing vitality. [

that I am not sorry to see 2020 go away. It has been a very difficult year, but we have all done our best to weather
the many storms that came our way. Now
let’s turn our sights toward 2021; when with continued safety measures, time,
vaccines, and a little luck, we will hopefully get to a place that looks more
like “normal” to us.
