Stafford FallFest
At its core, Meals on Wheels prepares and delivers nutritious meals to our neighbors who are unable or have difficulty preparing food for themselves. Outwardly, the program is pretty straightforward - the distribution of both hot and cold food to the hands of homebound seniors who need it most. However, more than just meals, the service is also a lifeline for socialization and companionship.
Stafford FallFest

There’s music to enjoy all afternoon on Saturday,October 20th, from 12PM to 8PM, with a wide range of regional acts including, Shaded Soul (funk/soul/dance), Damn Tall Buildings (American/bluegrass), Jeremiah Hazed (jam/rock), and Merrill Shepard (solo acoustic). A showcase of New England talent, the curated lineup was produced by The Factory, a resident recording studio and sound production company that has donated professional services for the event. Additionally, Wicked Good News serves as the 2018 Stafford FallFest Media Sponsor.

Free to attend, the rain or shine event also highlights sought-after food vendors with delicious menus from Back Roads Smokin’ BBQ, The Comfort Zone, Angry Skillet, A La Carte, Sylvia’s Hot Dogs, Chili Brothers Food Co., and the Ice Cream Depot. With hospitality from Bumski’s Mobile Beer & Wine Bar, an on-site beverage garden will feature beer, local cider, and wine, with regionally-brewed selections for your drinking pleasure (must be 21+ with positive ID). Additionally, artisans and organizations will be displaying a wide array of goods in the “maker market,” a place to discover handcrafted items with an intrinsic value that represents the best of the region. The vendor selection will include original arts, jewelry, home goods, pet products, gourmet specialty items and more.

Pumpkins in the Park
From silly to spooky, Stafford FallFest invites you to put your Pumpkins in the Park - decorators of all ages are welcome! Simply bring your pre-carved jack-o-lantern to the Stafford FallFest info booth for submission, noon - 5:00pm (we’ll provide the lights). As the sun sets, pumpkins will be illuminated for evening viewing and attendees will have the chance to vote from 5:00-7:00pm on which creation they like best. Fan favorites will be announced that evening and awarded both a prize and bragging rights in three age categories: 12 & under, 13-18 and 18+. There is no registration fee and pumpkin submissions must be deemed appropriate for all ages (those viewed as unsuitable will not be displayed). Happy carving!
