Welcome to Stafford Connecticut:

Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Budget Salary and Benefit Breakdown

The Board of Selectmen wanted to forward a fact-driven document that was prompted by an inquiry during the last Town Meeting on the budget. The Town had never previously broken down their budget #’s in this method before, but we wanted to fulfill the request from a taxpayer. The question was asked about what percentage of salaries, benefits, estimated overtime etc. make up the budget. Not surprisingly, social media has been peppered with “alternative facts” of late and we wanted accurate information sent out to clear up any misunderstandings regarding the budget. As always, every single detail and each and every line item in the budget is available for any taxpayer or resident to look at, at the Town Hall. [More Information]
