Trout & Salmon Stamp

The Trout & Salmon Stamp is in effect NOW and is REQUIRED for anyone (age 16 or older, INCLUDING seniors aged 65+) who would like to do one of the 2 following: 1. KEEP any trout or salmon they catch anywhere in Connecticut (except from places stocked by groups other than the State of Connecticut-such as a hunting or fishing club). 2. FISH (regardless of harvest or catch and release) in any of these 4 places: a) Trout Management Areas; b) Wild Trout Management Areas; c) Trout Parks; d) Broodstock Salmon Areas. Anyone who has already purchased their license, can pay the $5.00 fee and have the Trout & Salmon Stamp added and then have the license reprinted. Seniors do need the $5.00 stamp if they meet the conditions above, even if they get their license for free. 100% of the money from the Trout & Salmon Stamp is protected by law and guaranteed to go to DEEP fish and wildlife. Ordinances for Snow Removal & Parking Ban

Resident’s of Stafford Ordinances for Snow Removal & Parking Ban Ordinance 7-4 The owner, or the court appointed conservator or trustee, of any property within the Town of Stafford, shall be responsible for the snow removal on abutting sidewalk(s) and around abutting fire hydrant(s). Said snow/ice removal shall be accomplished within twenty-four (24) hours after the snowfall. Ordinance 6-1 Parking on any highway within the boundaries of the Town of Stafford during any period when it is snowing or freezing rain, or so as to interfere with or hamper the removal of snow or ice, shall be prohibited. A copy of the full text on these and all town ordinances are on file in the Town Clerks Office and are also available on the town’s website.
